Hunter Poke – Taste of Bangkok January 2018

Recommended by Taste of Bangkok January 2018

Last night I checked out Hunter Poke. As the name implies, Hunter specializes in poke, a Hawaiian marinated raw fish dish that is usually served over a bowl of rice. Being a LA native, I was part of the poke craze that swept through the city so I wanted to see how Hunter measured up.

I tried the X Factor, which consists of salmon, tuna, eel, tamago and edamame mixed in their house special soyu sauce over seaweed rice. I also got creative with a build your own bowl option, where I mixed and matched tuna and salmon along with toppings like crispy onion and wakame seaweed.

Overall, both these bowls tasted delicious and were healthy. While the portions may seem small for the price, they make up for it in fish quality and freshness of ingredients.
